New Research Demonstrates the Significant Impact of Accelerate Learning’s STEM Education Solutions

Accelerate Learning’s 2024 Impact and Research Report highlights proven STEM solutions driving student achievement, teacher confidence, and classroom equity worldwide.

2024 Annual Impact Report PR Release
Accelerate Learning Inc. has published its 2024 Impact and Research Report. The new report, which includes findings from more than 30 research studies and activities, demonstrates the measurable and positive effects of its STEM education solutions on student and teacher outcomes.

The 2024 report examines data from across the United States and abroad. Key findings include:
  • Increased student achievement. Efficacy studies in several states show higher test scores and passing rates in schools that use Accelerate Learning’s Math Nation, STEMscopes Math, and STEMscopes Science programs compared to schools that do not. Meta-analyses, which include multiple states, grades, and demographics, also provide evidence that Math Nation and STEMscopes Science have a significant positive impact on student performance on state assessments, even in states in their first year of implementation.
  • Improved teacher confidence. Qualitative and quantitative data from surveys and interviews with early childhood teachers from the United States, United Kingdom, and Finland revealed that Kide Science strengthens teachers’ confidence and supports their self-efficacy and enjoyment of STEAM teaching.
  • Increased classroom equity. A Texas Tech University study of Texas science teachers utilizing STEMscopes Science reported that over 70% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that their use of STEMscopes increases their science knowledge, makes them a better science teacher, and increases their ability to promote equity in their science classrooms. 
  • Positive teacher perceptions. Teacher surveys administered in Alabama and Louisiana by the nonprofit education research organization, WestEd, showed that teachers have positive perceptions of student engagement and mathematical learning with Math Nation. A notably high percentage (94%) in each state also indicated they were likely or very likely to recommend that their school or district use Math Nation in the future.
